Amersham Heritage Open Day

I Always wanted to be a Barrow boy I Always wanted to be a Barrow boy

We had a Lovely day out in Amersham. There was a lot of interest at the Middlesex Woodturners Stand. I was there with Wife Julie and colleague Don Hawes from the club. The weather was very good and the location was the church close which was very nice.

I was glad to see my old army friend Steve Clarke and his partner Jane  whom I was glad to present with one of the company mice. She decided to call her Hazel which I found a little confusing as she is crafted from Birch plywood.

Sold a few bits and met with some nice people. I enjoyed the clowns and punch and judy and managed to slip away for a few minutes to watch the Amersham Town Brass Band performing. Only a section four band but a good sound. After an extensive Company board meeting we have decided it would be nice to repeat the trip next year so keep your eye on the events page.
